The Company

Foundation and Development

The company was created as the result of an idea. Michael Jablonski founded GQS in 2010 with friends from the earlier volunteer anti-doping campaign. The idea was to continue this fight independently and to supplement it with their own quality criteria. Since then, the business economist and passionate anti-doping advocate has led the company as the majority shareholder and managing director. He has been supported by dedicated partners and employees. Thanks to good management over the years, GQS has access to a broad network of employees and freelancers.

Flexible and International

Global Quality Sports work on both national and international levels for anti-doping organisations, sports associations and sports organisers. Our flexible company structure and short decision paths allow us to act quickly, cost-effectively and sustainably.

Experience and Qualifications

Quality in the organisation, processes and our actions is the highest priority at GQS. Our ISO certification by TÜV demonstrates this. Our qualified employees possess thorough theoretical and practical training and have many years of experience in a wide range of sports on behalf of national and international anti-doping organisations.

Global Quality Sports is an independent service provider. We are committed to fair competition conditions, because without the use of doping controls, there can be no effective fight against doping. Respect for athletes and a sense of responsibility in our duties are our basic principles.

The fight against doping is being challenged and should be observed critically. Our company colour green represents our hope for clean sports and for worldwide equal opportunity for all athletes. We work hard every day to protect clean athletes.

The GQS headquarters is located in Stuttgart, the state capital of Baden-Württemberg, near the international airport and the A8 motorway. All the information we collect is gathered in our modern offices and processed in the back office area. There are also conference and training rooms with multimedia conference technology available.

The GQS Office in Berlin connects our headquarters with the German capital. In our central location in Berlin-Mitte, we have conference and training rooms with multimedia conference technology as well as several modern offices that are electronically connected to the headquarters in Stuttgart. From here, we can coordinate and manage doping controls in and around the “German sports capital”, particularly for large events.

ISO Certification

The ISO 9001 certification standard is a universally recognised standard that defines the requirements of effective quality management. Duties and responsibilities as well as structures and work processes are transparently regulated and documented in process and procedure instructions. This is particularly important to provide legal certainty in cases which test positive for doping.

As an external partner for the control of the strict requirements of ISO certification (ISO 9001), GQS is the only company in the industry to choose TÜV. The validity of this certification expires after a certain amount of time and must be renewed by undergoing regular quality audits (re-certification). Our employees also constantly and self-critically examine our internal processes and search for potential ways to improve. This ensures that continuous further development is given the highest priority, and thorough quality management remains firmly rooted in the company.
